    Malibu based Holden Apollo

I don't mind the new malibu which gave me the idea of a camry competitor for Holden here in aus. I figured why not an apollo. I made it so that it conforms to the new Holden look, but would be very simple to make on the same production line in the US. Sorry if the quality is down, its been a while since my last chop as work has been busy.

Very good, though the grille dominates the headlights and makes them look a bit "squinted" in an angry Asian kind of way... But then if it's to go against the senile Camry... I also know you love Holden, but the badge seems far too big to me.

I am afraid I like it much more than the actual 'bu - sorry GM... As much off base as the Button Plan was, the Holden Apollo is a really nice nameplate and I really would love to see Holden make good use of it. Why oh why did they have to call the V250 "Holden Epica"...

PS. Did I mention your skills are simply superb? I could believe it's an actual car!

Thanks for the feedback mate. You always have some good comments. I do agree about the grille and there are two reasons for its size. The first is that I just wanted the single grille opening and to change the body lines from windscreen to radiator making it smaller would have been a job too complex for me. The other reason is that I was looking for something comparable to the toyota aurion but not as vaguely styled.

Can you make a Vauxhall version of it?

    Call it the Vauxhall Ventora.

Unlike Holden Apollo, I believe that the "Vauxhall Ventora" is one of those nameplates that should NEVER come back. I'd even rather have a Vauxhall Belmont (UK's most stolen car, btw )

I think you're pretty much stuck with GMDAT or Opel vehicles for your cheaper brands.

Quiet why people steal these I'll never know!

At least steal something you know you'll like when you've stolen it!

Where is your quality lacking at? It's extremely good!

I really like that imposing and mean-looking front end. It certainly looks much better than the boring and gray Camry and Accord. It looks much better than the Avensis and Mondeo to me.

You have a winner right there, as long as it has some power to go with the looks. If you can, try making an HSV model.

I think it looks great, but I like the new Malibu as is, so what do I know? Do you think you could change the hood line to make it open full width instead of theat MX-5 looking abomination?

Cheers guys for all having a look and giving your two cents. Can't wait to see some of the chops that people will be doing of the malibu in the coming weeks. BTW if anyone is interested the donor cars were a VE calais and the tt36.
