    A.J.'s brand - GEOtrak

    "Official press release" coming soon.

Here's the concept in a nutshell:
GEOtrak is an off-road luxury wagon brand. It's designed to sort-of replace Hummer. It sells to the masses as an "all-season" model, with five terrain response settings (road, snow/ice, grass/dirt/mud, sand, rock) and a height-adjustable suspension.

There are also five dedicated-terrain models which sell mainly to fleets in different kinds of climates that can be used as rescue vehicles or general use. The models (street, arctic, grassland, coastal, mountain) have their own dedicated terrain-response systems and suspension settings.

Check it out. In the picture, the suspension is set at the absolute lowest setting.

A.J., the thing that's great about your designs is also the only thing I don't love about your designs. It's that they're too practical. It looks production ready, and the concept is cool, well proportioned, and well thought out, but it's never going to be as exciting as a coupe or outrageous rock-crawler. That said, your idea for regional differentiation is intriguing. This looks like a good do-everything sort of vehicle without too many compromises. Great job as always.

I am not thinking it is just me, but it seems like your designs A.J. all look quite/very similar.

    Though you do draw well.

    !!!!
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

    !!!!
I've actually showcased this brand a few months ago in Reader's Talent. I've made some revisions since then, which is why it looks similar but different.

All of my drawings are made from my own templates, though - I have small FWD, mid FWD, large FWD (which this one is based off of), mini RWD, small RWD, and large RWD templates. The templates are essentially just a pair of wheels and a level for ground clearance.

This looks nice. I like how you have managed to incorporate detailing without it looking fussy. Do you have others models in the lineup: maybe a sporty model with a rear that is less upright?

Despite the goofy front lights, I really do like this one, but it really looks more like a small wagon, 3 series or impreza sort of size than anything that could attempt going off road. In saying that, small fast wagons do appeal to me ala C63, RS4, 335i etc.

I would suggest having a couple of 4x4 templates, maybe a small 4x4 and a large 4x4. Your off-road models always have too little ground clearance, and look no different than your estate models in terms of proportions/stance.

On the plus side, you are a very talented drawer, and your idea for a brand is intriguing. I'd be interested in seeing more from GEOtrak.
