Your Engines Choices
The Bottom of the range is a 1.8L I-4 producing 148 HP. The other option is a 1.9L Diesel Engine Producing 100HP. The higher end 2.8L V6 produces 213HP and is standard on model grade Elegance. All engines come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, and as a no cost option, a newly developed CVT, or a conventional 5-speed automatic. A manumatic 6- speed transmission shared with the Icono Aviz, is available on the Elegance and Grace, as a $700 option.
As Safe as Can Be
The Cosmos gets 5 stars for the front impact crash test at NHTSA and 5 for the side and rear crash tests. ABS is standard on both FWD and AWD models. Dual front airbags, along with head curtain airbags covering both rows of seating. Traction control is a no-cost option.

The 1.9L Diesel has yet to be rated by the EPA
