Hot Rod of the Year - Efijy - Modified by me

    .

This is the US Hot Rod Magazine's Hot Rod of the Year - Efijy - that has been on display in Detroit on GM's stand. It was created by Holden to celebrate 50 years since the FJ Holden, the car that really got Holden going. The design was un unused Small Buick which was given to Holden in the 1940's to develop.

I have been toying around with some changes to make it more road and user friendly. I shortened the tail, raised the roof, made the wheels smaller and gave it more ground clearance. Then I played with it. What do you think?

That Copper soft top(with the roof up it is even better!) is by far the best. Send it to the head of the Efijy's design team.

I can't wait to see it doing the rounds at next years motor shows.

I agree this is a lot better than the original. If only Buick could get a beauty like this in their lineup.
Current: 2012 Chevrolet Impala LT Past: 1995 Chrysler Cirrus LX, 1996 Chevy Lumina, 1998 GMC Astro (GMC Grill on an Astro)

    .

Great looking cars Rex from that comp, especially the winner. I'd like to see Cadillac put something like that up against Bentley etc.

My little pics are of course to flesh out a more practical and usable form of the car that a hot rodder could actually make and run if a body-kit were available to fit to aftermarket hot rod chassis'.
