To me, Chevy is more recognized for it's cars, rather than trucks. So if GM insists on making the SSR and HHR, then send them to GMC and let Chevy go retro with the Kappa Nomad and a 57 of some sort. Here's my proposal. If your wondering about the A and C pillars, they're covered by window glass like the '88-'96 Cutlass, '92-'96 Skylark coupe, various Saturns, Ford Probe, etc. This helps with that whole "floating roof" idea that was around during the late '50's and early '60's. About the only chrome I have on here are the exhaust tips, wheels, and horizontal bar across the grill. It just had to have the fins. Also, I placed the grill below the headlights, where it should be. I left off certain styling features because I didn't want it to copy the original in every area, just the some of the main features like: grill, roof, fins, rear fenders, and single round headlights. I was thinking the base engine would be the straight 6 from the Trailblazer and the high end engine would be the LS2. An intermediate engine would probably be in the low to mid 300's for a hp rating.

Great technique as always, but it's not really doing anything for me.
It doesn't look like a new interpretation of an old design, it just looks like an old design.

Hey GN6, you're not participating in this month's design contest?

That is very nice looking. Though the front looks a little like a 1st gen Neon.

Well, Rex, I found that my minivan designs look like the current minivans or station wagons with a sliding door. Nothing too futuristic or ground breaking. I might enter, maybe not.

The Back is awesome! The sides are good but I am not a fan of the front.

Seeing it all tiny and pixely in the thumbnail makes me think that it's this:

    Porsche 959

Just put a wing/spoiler spanning the tailfins, fastback roofline down to the rear bumper, and it kind of would look like a 959.
