Chris isn't the only one I've seen who associate black and the GN together. Why is that? Why is black so famous with the car?

    Re: GN Question

it'd be pretty silly if the GN were to be brought back, and only offered in ONE color...

Wasn't the GNX available in any colour you want, as long as it's black? There have been a few GM performance cars like that in the period (Syclone springs immediately to mind).

Actually the 1982 regal grand nationals came in tu tone with a silver mist upper body and charcoal gray lower body . Also only 215 were built in that color scheme.

    Re: GN Question

Black ranks 2nd on 'most sold colors' and I doubt GM would only offer the car in black if it was sold. It would be dumb.

    Black 16.7

The current Mercury Marauder is available only in black, and isn't selling all that well. (Color is only one of many reasons)

    Re: GN Question

I don't think I've ever even seen another color than black for a true GN. But just because you never see baby squirrels doesn't mean they don't exist, I suppose.

In 94, the Impala SS was only available in black as well, just like the concept. Dark green gray (DGG) and Dark Cherry Metallic (DCM) weren't until 95.
