    GMC Envoy

A break from all the doom and gloom news. This is another IMO love it or hate it design, executed rather poorly compared to my other stuff perhaps:

I need to find a way to make these a bit more exciting.

    But I hope you like!

Looks good to me too. I can never draw draw like that. Aside from bunch of wrinkles(is that what you call it?) here and there on the body, I love it.

Uh oh, looks a little similar to my Envoy concept for the previous contest j/k.

Looks great and I love the overall theme. Even if it isn't your best, I still think it's great.

My entry for this month's contest isn't my best work either, but what the heck, I'm in it for the fun anyways.

Very nice, even better considering you don't like SUVs.

Its more of a third-generation Envoy.

It's mean looking, I like it. The front rim is pretty sweet too. Nice job.

I really really really like it, I mean I really do!! To me it appears to have a bit of HHR in the nose, and Rav4 in the profile, all in a good way!! Keep up the fantastic work Burns!!

    Re: GMC Envoy

I don't see it as "executed poorly". It is EXCELLENT!

If you'd ever return to it:

    1. Needs mirrors and door handles. Concepts might not have them, but once you productionize a car, those can completely ruin a good design. Show us how you would do them!

    2. Not quite buying the FJ-Cruiserish roofline in the back...

Anyhoo, it's at least a few inches above the best GM can do now. Fire the guy who did the GMT360s and hire Mr. Burns, GM!

    GrandPrix08,
Yes you can! Just takes more practice....perhaps art classes.
Saying that you can't draw like that is the 1st step in self defeat.

    .
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

    .
Drawing like this just takes practice, if you really want it, then stick with it and eventually you can get really good. I posted my first drawings here back in 2005 when I joined, and they were crap.

Very Impressive! I don't know where car companies find their designer, but IMO, they are looking in the wrong place. Good Job Mr. Burns!
