The upper portion of the cab reminds me of the (I believe it was a GMC) on "The Island"

Pretty cool though, especially compared to the large GMC trucks that I have seen around my area.

I find all of your designs are way too simple. Like they are just 2 minute sketches. I think if you spent more time on them, going for a bit more realism (shadows, details, WHEELS), you could really have potential. But for right now, I'm really not a fan of your stuff.

Perfectly said. Just spend more time on them. Don't feel like your on a deadline. That is unless you are.

Ya, I guess I've always been like that though... draw what comes to my mind right then and there. The truck took just a few min, as is the case w/ almost every drawing I've ever done. Guess it's time to stop pumping out drawing after drawing and detail the ones I got. :p

    Thanks for all the input.

And as for the wheels, I've always been bad at them, so it's only been recently that I've added wheels on to just about every drawing I do (or gone back and added them)

You've found the words I've been trying to locate.

Once again my advice is to trace some photos of current cars to get some practice at more "realism". Most of your sketches are even to boxy for a H1. Kind of like trying to build a small concept car out of Legos.

    Keep at it...

If you feel like your gonna lose the image in your head of what you want it to look like, do a little sketch very quickly like this, then do another more complex drawing later. For more detail, I would trace cars first, thats what I did. For a while. Just to get detail down and lots of idea's of what to put where. I might do a drawing tonight. Its been about 2 years though, but I'll try it again.

Ya you should make a few good designs instead of 100 sketches

It's a nice idea, though I agree with Rex and others when they say there needs to be more detail. At least draw the wheel-well cutouts
