    Ford GT/Corvette

I don't have a story, just a pic. Comments help, not insults.

    Re: Ford GT/Corvette

Forgive me if I'm blind, but I don't see any hint of Corvette here. Addition of the front lower grille, side vents below the door. I'm not sure I see much else, maybe I'm just not sure what to look for.

    Re: Ford GT/Corvette

When I first saw it, I thought you did nothing to the photo.

Upon close examination with a reference photo I see you changed the mirrors, added a vent in the front fender, and below the door as well as erasing the Ford GT logo below the door.

Everything is so subtle and Ford biased (obviously) that no one could ever tell you are trying to make a Corvette GT combo.

That said, you do have decent chopping skills, I just suggest giving it more Corvette DNA if you want it to look like a good mix of the two cars.

Looks better than the GT to me, though do not see any Corvette, they are too different to combine maybe.

i think it's pretty good so far. i've talked to him about it and i think he was going to turn it into, essentially, a mid-engined corvette. but this definitely can't the finished product, as others have said, still too much GT.

watch what you say, this isn't 'FordInsideNews.com'. i for one think that the corvette can contribute EVERYTHING to the GT. i saw the new Ford GT (in special edition 'Gulf' paint), and i thought it was the one from the sixties, until i read the description. the GT is possibly the most retro vehicle you will ever find, it just looks old.

Like I said, there is NOTHING the Corvette can contribute to the Ford GT. But that of course is only my opinion. Chill

Hmm how about a better price tag? and can close to beating it performance wise. I think the fastest to 60 so far is 3.4. Isnt the GT 3.3? or 3.1?

I assume you are talking about the Z06. Why is that good when no body will turn their heads? Is so ordinary looking. Maybe be a supercar whithin but it sure don't look the part.

I think this is a design contest. It is in that perspective that I made my comment. Ford all other argumentations there are a few long threads to vent.

    Re: Ford GT/Corvette

Most people turn their heads when they see a corvette. Unless you happen to live in a city where you see more than 5 daily.
