I like it. Don't know if its how I would want the Firebird to look, when I see it I definently think Pontiac..and Slick Pontiac..but I dont think Firebird. Either way, its an AWESOME design. Nice Work.
nice the grill kinda looks like the solstices
Thanks for the comments. The front end is kind of a mix of Solstice and early 4th gen Firebird. I look a 97 Formula Firebird everyday as it sit my garage, so I wanted to bring some ideas from it into my design, the hood in particular is inspired by my car. When I looked at my drawing this morning I realized I forgot something, can anyone see what I forgot (besides the door handle)?
Well I'm kinda wondering how the door opens with that rear fender like that, but maybe its just how im looking at it..aside from that and the doorhandle..no, I cant see anything missing...is there supposed to be a visible back hatch window?.. exposed headlights? havent seen those on a Bird in a few years..but I suppose thats how it'll be if they make it again..although I like the flip headlights, they are dead nowOriginally Posted by Jono

Whats missing does not effect the design of the car (well at least not from this angle) but will effect how it drives. The door has an odd shape so that it fit with the rear fender without having to have extra seams, probably wouldn't ever be feasible because it would get bent the first time you open your into something.Originally Posted by HoeyHimself
its good but it looks like somethings off. almost like the front is melting (but who am i to judge when all my designs are way off) but i really like the styling idea.
Is the front driver's side tire ultra huge? or is that part of the rear pass. side tire behind it? Because if your running supper fatties up front, that will definently cause problems in driving..more specifically making turns..well..what is it??
I forgot the rear passanger side tire, you should be able to see some of it just behind the front drivers side tire. Now that you've pointed it out, the front tires are really wide, it I get some time I'll fix these issues.
I like the front of the car, don't care for the c-pillar or the back end.
Looks like a picture taken with a fish eye lens. I see t-tops!
good ideas overall! nice RIMS too
but I have to agrees the perspective does look a little fish eye... was this done for effect?
the rear windshield, like on the 3rd gen in your sig. i'd really like to see that style return on the new firebird. i'm not too happy about the 350Z/Solstice style headlights though, i think something like the banshee concept had would look sick (but they would have to not be covered).Originally Posted by Jono
Ya, I did the fish eye perspective on purpose.Originally Posted by heals120
The car doesn't have the Firebird feel at all really. Just the windshield and T-top area.
