Entry For design contest---merger---Next generation cobalt---from Mr. Burns

I's like to enter this instead of the cadillac SRS

this is what i think the next gen. should be, or what this gen should have been like. Civic watch out!

here is an ION version, based on the same platform (delta 2). this one is a bit off perspective wise, sry.

im not really a fan of my ion design, but i do like how the side body line flows into the bumper. Id make that saturn's trademark look.

as a side note, ever wonder what would happen if hummer were to make a car? me too, the result is probably too ugly to make it to production:

id like to enter the cobalt as one of my enteries, i will be doing a next gen. malibu as my second entry, look for that soon.

You know what is scary, the ION almost looks like the real thing. I have seen the next ION/ EVOKE and that is pretty close to the mark! Good job!!!

I like the Cobalt alot. The Ion is ok, its just a little unproportional, and not Opel enough. keep up the good work, didn't even know you could draw.

Where your Cobalt looks good is in the way the mass seems to wrap around the bottom. An ugly trait of cheap econocars is how they look like half a hollow egg shell placed over a frame with a harsh edge to the bottom of the sheetmetal/bumpers. This one has more of a luxury look where the air dam wraps down and under the bumper making it look thicker and more substantial, like an entry lux class small car such as a Volvo.

    Good job.

yeah, i drew them, then i took pictures with my digi cam. It was after that hassle that i realized i need a scanner.

Id like the front of the cobalt (the bumper area and the foglights) to be chevy's corporate look. Im currently doing a next gen. impala, and im employing that bumper on that as well.

You know that the HUMMER car would work if you were to make it into a rally car. Have a turbo-diesel in line 4 and all wheel drive. Would work pretty nicely as well as being a strong model to compete with the Jeep coming up.
