Very good photoshop job you did, I hope you'll win the contest but the Abarth Challenger is a fierce competitor as well.
thanks guys and yes the Abarth Challenger was done very well too right now I'm far out and ahead but I'm NOT counting chickens until the voting is over

The Abarth chop started with the head start of a car people already desire, but failed to capitalise on it and offer something better than a Challenger. For that type of buyer, if the Abarth were sitting beside a Challenger and a buyer walked in I know what they would drive out in every time.
Don't like any of the others except for your Dart, which is the most realistic for a production model that I think would actually sell to real people and compete well in its space.
To nit-pick on execution - the chop itself is excellent but I would have added a bit more orange hue while sharpening and deepening the color of the front of the car as below. But that technical issue aside, well done and I hope you win as your chop is the most deserving.
Very well done! Looks good, definitely the best out of the bunch and as mentioned before, the most realistic.
1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT
2003 Honda S2000
1997 BMW 328iS
2003 MINI Cooper S
1984 Mercedes-Benz 230CE

thanks - I was definitely going for something that would make actual sense and not something completely off the wall or silly.Originally Posted by MonaroSS
thanks - and I was tempted to do what you had done and just leave it, however, if you view the original image (or look at the sheetmetal right above the top of the front window), what I did makes more sense on the lighting with the slightly more pinkish/dusty color.Originally Posted by MonaroSS
And not to make excuses, but this wasn't a chop that I spent that much time on... a proof of concept to fit the timeline required for the holiday contest.

But like you said, and we choppers all know, details means a lot more time. It's also amazing what walking away from a chop for a day or two reveals to you when you view it again with fresh eyes later.
first place woot!
Yours was the best. Better, even, than #2.
Do you, by any chance, know when Contest #2 starts? I'm thinking about entering - hope you don't mind!
Well done mate.
I like that Camaro T-Top too...
