Dodge Magnum front end, but what is the other vehicle, is it the 500?

really like the rendering and color

Very good photoshop job you did, I hope you'll win the contest but the Abarth Challenger is a fierce competitor as well.

The Abarth chop started with the head start of a car people already desire, but failed to capitalise on it and offer something better than a Challenger. For that type of buyer, if the Abarth were sitting beside a Challenger and a buyer walked in I know what they would drive out in every time.

Don't like any of the others except for your Dart, which is the most realistic for a production model that I think would actually sell to real people and compete well in its space.

To nit-pick on execution - the chop itself is excellent but I would have added a bit more orange hue while sharpening and deepening the color of the front of the car as below. But that technical issue aside, well done and I hope you win as your chop is the most deserving.

Very well done! Looks good, definitely the best out of the bunch and as mentioned before, the most realistic.

thanks - I was definitely going for something that would make actual sense and not something completely off the wall or silly.

thanks - and I was tempted to do what you had done and just leave it, however, if you view the original image (or look at the sheetmetal right above the top of the front window), what I did makes more sense on the lighting with the slightly more pinkish/dusty color.

And not to make excuses, but this wasn't a chop that I spent that much time on... a proof of concept to fit the timeline required for the holiday contest.

Yeah, looking at it more closely probably halfway between what I suggested and what you did would probably be the go. Seeing the shadow extend forward means the grille area should have retained the more orange hue and the bonnet, getting the lighting like the roof, could be the pinker tone.

But like you said, and we choppers all know, details means a lot more time. It's also amazing what walking away from a chop for a day or two reveals to you when you view it again with fresh eyes later.

indeed - on this one I spent more time looking for a proper Dodge front end than doing the chop!

    Congratulations!

Yours was the best. Better, even, than #2.

Do you, by any chance, know when Contest #2 starts? I'm thinking about entering - hope you don't mind!

go for it - I love to compete - keeps me more creative! You just have to be a member to participate next time I think... they were pretty relaxed about that for this first one.
