    Different red GTO

Here's my take on a red GTO 'design'.

Actually, I'm surprised how nice that Holden body smoothes out with a top chop and laying back the windshield.

dam that thing is hot man. the hood looks like off the trans am and the rear tire gives the car awsome stance, this is the gto gm should have made. one thing i dont like is the tail pipe pointing down, it kinda looks like somtin of a picup truck. awsome job though

Not too bad. I love those donor rims. I've used them on some of my chops before.

Camaroman....let's see if I can remember what I did in this chop. Raked back the windshield, chopped the top, removed the rear wing, removed the body side reveal, added WS6 T/A side vents and hood scoops, widened the tires, added the rims, stretched the factory rockers downward, darkened grill inserts, removed grill GTO logo, stretched down and highlighted the front fascia, removed front parking lights, added the '67 goat side emblem. Oh, and added the background. I actually did this last week when I was watching how 'great' the other red GTO chop was going on this site and felt I could come up with something a little more realistic.

Yassir... the pipes are the optional splitter exhaust right off a '65 Goat. They do come down a little straight but splitters and tri-power made the GTO!

    Thanks for the compliments.

quick edit.... just remembered that I also enlarged and widened the rear wheel arch. It helps to take some of that slab-sidedness away.

thanks, i didn't notice the spoiler or grille changes. when i saw the sideskirts, i figrured they were a copy/paste job, apparently not . nice work.

that's pretty slick... design is hot, but my only little nit-pick is the reflection on the hood that makes it stand out as a "donor element" b/c the color doesn't exactly match and there is no blue hue in the background sky for the reflection.... but i love the look

Nice chop, I'll bet will be seeing real GTO's chopped and layed back like this when this get's around to the GTO people. I'd want my GTO to look like this one if I owned one.

really nice chop but the car is so terribly dated...

Why not bring it into the 21st century?

click here ...that's my take on the mid-cycle update gto.

prova, where do you get donor pics for rims? i usually just use the ones from cars i have saved to my computer, but the ones you use i've never seen before. also, did you modify make the rims deep-dish or were they originally like that? if you did that, how?
