    Design Dump!

    Hey Everybody!

I'm just sharing some "quickies", ie, things that I didn't have the time to go back over, or complete. I've also included a couple of Architectural ideas and a vessel that just wound up coming out of my pencil the other day.

I do hope to finish some of these, but most have withered on the vine...

A couple of vehicles that were originally going to be GEO's for the last design exercise in the "design zone"

A re-drawing of my Buick Regal from the EPII contest, Better perspective, just having trouble finishing the front corner (Any suggestions anybody on how to do this? I really have problems with trying to finish the far edges...)

The Front to a Buick I had done a little while ago.

    Chevy Cobalt

    Saturn Corsa

    New New VW Beetle

A lot of Pontiacs (I have been working on figuring out a new face for Pontiac, I like the first the best)

This one feels very Mercedes-Like for some reason...

Some rear ends, the first two I really like, The first is the newest version, I really want to finish it.

    Some Vehicle Interiors

    Some Architectural Stuff
The first two are my idea for an Aquarium

    And, A Vessel (pitcher?)

That second Geo is really cool, you should finish it. Oh, and I like the third Pontiac rear end the best.

Thanks! I'm not really sure about the Geo, I was having designers block on the front end. I really wanted something new to do to the front end, but there wasn't much to Geo, I couldn't even take cues from vintage models...

I really liked the Pontiac Rear End that you pointed out, however, I ran into the problem that i was talking about earlier, i have no idea how to finish the far corner. It was supposed to have a glass roof that carried back onto the liftback, and instead of ending at or above the spoiler, it was going to carry back underneath the spoiler, for an almost interwoven look, plus, it helps to cut out the bulk to the rear end.

Cool stuff man, never give up the good ideas you like though. You'll get your drawing issues straightened out, just keep going at it.

That first Pontiac nose is sweet. Very original. I hope to see more of it.

Your first sketch for a new Pontiac fascia is quite a tight sketch. I like it.

Can you (or someone) put together a Pontiac G3 using the 1st Pontiac nose and 1st Pontiac tail in a couple different views? I'd love to see how that works out, looks awesome!

It may take me some time, however, I will try my hardest to attempt it. I will tell you that one thing that I am not very good at is re-drawing designs... But, like I said, I will definately try!

I like the Saturn Corsa, and the first two rear ends are really nice. I'd be excited to see more of those.

    Re: Design Dump!

interesting how many different faves people have on those sketches.

your ideas are great, and i can see that your perspective representation is getting really close to very believable. funny, by not filling out the second half ( far side front of a lot of these), you actually do yourself a service so as not to distract the viewer from the beauty of the idea. a poorly drawn far side would draw attention to the drawing rather than the idea.

i would like to see you explore that first pontiac front end, it is brilliant, pure, strong.
