    Cruze mid cycle enhancement

The current Cruze design has been launched in 2008-2009 and released in the US and Canada in 2010 as a 2011 model. The next generation is still quite some time away to be launched in late 2015 as a 2016 model. I feel GM should have done some kind of MCE to the Cruze in 2014, in 2015 the design will be 7 years old!

This is just a quick idea based on the Malibu:

Nice chop but I'm not a fan of the style. It barely works on the new Malibu (which wasn't an improvement over the '13 Malibu IMO) and doesn't look as nice or right on the Cruze, especially w/ the dated headlights of the current car.

Yeah, probably. But wasn't there an updated Cruze, Holden or some variation of the global Chevy badged Cruze that was updated but the NA market just never received it?

On a positive note, there wouldn't have been too much worth changing. An updated 1.4T would be about it mechanically, aside from that I'd have wanted to see a Cruze SS. Some minor interior upgrades pretty much rounds it out.

I would usually agree but I feel like the Cruze has aged well. Still looks great. As far as I know it still sells well. This is one where I think GM may have done the right thing by not investing in a MCE.

One quick no cost upgrade would have been to use the RS front bumper and grille which I think looks nicer than the regular one.

Here's the real thing, the refreshed 2015 Cruze... what do you think?

Not an improvement IMO. Not bad, just kind of bland.

Agree sir. Despite being conservative the Cruze has aged very well.
