Thumbs up Crunk's 2013 Chevrolet Cruze MCE Rendering

Once again folks I tried my hand at a Chevy Cruze extensive MCE to fix some of the problems I have especially with the front. Here's what I changed:

    -new bumper/fog lamps
    -new grill
    -new projector headlamps
    -new lower door panels
    -new wheels

I think it came it pretty well, let me know your thoughts please keep it constructive guys...

The front is not the problem. The front I find to be the most attractive feature. The only thing I would fix is to make foglamps standard for the LT and LTZ trim level.

Nothing really wrong with the side with the exception of the black plastic cutout, not that big of a deal to fix that either.

The real problem is the back end. The tail-lights need to be totally redesigned and integrated into the Chevy design theme. A good starting point would be the Cobalt Coupe tail-lights, square them off a bit, and give them a little chrome treatment.

Completely agree with you on this, I think the front end looks really good even the side, the black plastic doesn't bother me that much, but its when you get to the rear it feels like a completely different car and it almost turns me off of the car itself. I'm not sure what they need to do to enhance the rear but just make it more appealing.

Are you thinking like the upcoming Malibu's tail lights? That wouldn't be too bad on that car. Maybe just incorporate a few of the Malibu's design traits, but not so much that it becomes the same sausage, different cut...cough cough 5er and 7er.

That is exactly what I tried to do w/ the front. I started out with a Malibu headlamp and modified it a bit so that it wouldn't look too much like the original....more like an evolution in design if you will.

Not sure about the foglights but you're on to something with the headlights. I was never a fan of its jaggy, rectangular look.

I'm not sure that I like it with the rest of the car, but you did a really nice job with the foglight's surround. Nice wheel choice too.

Can you get rid of the black plastic addition behind the rear window? I've hated that thing on the Cruze since day one.

What terrible is what you did to the front fascia. The wheels, me likes though.

I like the Cruze... except for the taillights. I do like the fog lights and surrounds that you did. The Cruze rear end is all well and good except for the taillights. It actually has one of my favorite design cues ever on it.

That thin strip of chrome at the bottom, my favorite part of this car.

Looks too much like that hideous Elantra. Leave it alone.
