ya i would love to see that! isnt it rear engine? i saw an old one the other day! so cool with the luvers on the back !
It was a rear engine. They seem to have had numerous problems with it being in the rear. But I have always thought the later model Corvairs had some exceptional lines. GM should re-think the possibilities of this car, if not a variation.
its nice but it bothers me that it looks like a four seat Solstice
June 9 2010: I saw the new Buick Regal...and it was beautiful
Or maybe the Solstice looks like a two-seater Corvair? Makes ya wonder why cars look so mocu like others. I'll see if I can find a good Corvair print. This is not a chop. This is a complete-from-scratch rendering. So there's no base of origination other than a white canvas. LOOK FOR MORE VERSIONS!
Looks good to me.....rear-engine proportions look correct for the theme...now put a hardtop on it, and you'll avoid the "looks like a" syndrome.
I might be mistaken...but Spyder may be the correct spelling?
I thought about that at first and decided to throw in the drop-top for fun.
Sounds like a good idea to see full form!

Beautiful car! That would be a great contest 'pick'. Any later version photo's?

Biggest gripe was potential amounts of carbon-monoxide leaking into the passenger compartment. I drove around in one as a kid....friend down the street owned it. He never fell asleep at the wheel or keeled-over on us.
This would be a good project for you guys....either that...or a Fiero re-birth.....
or the Ramp Side

Thanks for the side gate. This could be a GREAT photo-mod contest idea. This is awesome!
