    Contest #33: Buick Lucerne

Take the picture below and modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc...

The changes can be serious or silly. The changes don't have to make the car more desirable, they just have to make it different.

You are showing off your creativity and your chopping skills.

Try to keep some semblance of the original pic.

Only 1 entry per person, and NO revisions. Once you've entered, that's your entry.

I'm back in control, and due to it's popularity, we're going back to anonymous chopping:

Do NOT post your images here in this thread. Instead, E-mail them to: [email protected]. This week's contest will be totally anonymous.
Please do not write your name anywhere in your picture.
In your e-mail (but not your picture) please include your user name.

You have until THURSDAY at Midnight to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away. Quality takes time. Voting will start on FRIDAY.

    Here's the pic to modify:

So you can't use that chop. Keep the idea and make it better!

Most people use Adobe Photoshop. (7.0 or 8.0 aka CS)
You can buy it at most computer stores. It's not cheap, but it's good.

And even if you have it, it really helps to have someone show you the basics.

    And then, practice, practice, practice

Rex, haven't I seen you mention using 7.0? If so, how would you rate it compared to version 6? I'm thinking about moving up ($89 for 6.0 to 7.0 upgrade), but other than a revised user interface, I'm not certain what they've changed.

I chop using Microsoft Picture it photo premium 9. It isn't state of the art but it'll do most anything I want it to.

I am not sure of the exact differences between 6.0 and 7.0.
I do know that the latest version "CS" has a color matching feature, and also allows you to bend text. Both those features I use often.

My opinion is that they wouldn't bother coming out with a new version if the changes weren't worth it.

I use Photoshop aside from just chop contests and fun, so for me it is worth having the latest version.
