    Congrats again to the winners.

    Quick question concerning my entry:

    If I hadn't given it a spyshot look, would it have gotten more votes?

    Yeah, I like that a lot more. Looks production ready!

    Of course Chevy doesn't need another car based wagon / suv...

    Re: Contest #30: Results and Discussion!

    congrats to prova275, winner by a huge margin!

    a query on the results though my count has
    D prova275 - 93 (19,15,60) --> one more first place vote
    Q camro freak - 47 (6,10,9) --> one more 3rd place vote
    B hrt433 - 32 (7,4,3) --> one more first place vote
    C jono - 30 (7,2,5)
    H roast - 26 (5,3,5)
    A BlueEssEss - 19 (4,2,3)
    E Neb5 - 14 (0,5,4) --> one more second place vote

    I went back an checked it to make sure i hadn't stuffed up and the only thing i can see is that maybe PronceCharmless's vote wasn't included cause they only chose a 1st and 2nd place, but that doesn't explain missing votes for prova and freak.

    not that i'm complaining, true third would be nice, but 4th aint too bad, just wondering thats al.

    To Rex
    I believe you would have received a lot more votes without the spy shot look.
    I would have given it a lot more consideration,IMO the spy shot look took away the brilliance and clarity.

    I found the spy shot more interesting from a creative level. Just like the police car as well. Both very creative but didn't score huge results.

    Rex, you say the contest is about "showing off your creativity and your chopping skills." What if you split out the contest and each week have 2 categories for entries....

    1 for creative and 1 for skills

    That way if someone had a creative idea then they could be awarded for their idea and someone who had skills could be awarded for their technique.

    The voting would get too complex.
    Some people already have a hard enough time picking 3 entries.
    Wouldn't want to confuse anyone any further.

    Camaro Freak,

    Thanx for the compliment on my Highway Patrol chop... I liked it.

    Even though I got more votes on the last contest than any of the previous ones I was a little disappointed.

    This was the first one that I used Photoshop to do, all my previous ones were done with Paint (and I guess it showed LOL)

    Even though I was a little disappointed about my final score I will keep trying to do better chops and hopefully some day with some more practice I will get higher point scores.

    I have a lot of fun doing them so I won't stop just because of the lack of votes.

    Wow.... two weeks in a row, thank you all for the votes! Glad you liked my Impala SS, but I have to tell you, it was a lot easier to do than the golf cart last week!

    Rex, I think your spyshot concept was great, after all, it's about "showing off your creativity and chopping skills." Also really liked Camaro Chris' red Impala (very clean) and Cactusdoug's clever CHP chop, wish I had thought of it.... Lots of great entries this week.

    Thank you again, I appreciate it!
