Announcing yourself as the winner? I smell conspiracy!

    Kidding of course.

    The votes don't lie.
    No Florida here.
    No hanging chads.

I was the clear cut winner.

    Popular and electoral.

Why can't they just produce this car now? Doesn't matter if it were V-6 or V-8, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

Which one did you vote for?
In general do you like the SS concept?

I have no idea if people vote for concept or quality. Not to toot my own horn, but I think both my concept and quality are pretty good in this chop.

Yep quality is good, but i think the top is too retro.
Also the wheels dont really suit the retro look and smooth fender flares.
And a chrome bumper on the rear, but not on the front?
    Just my opinion.

I could have changed the top of the car as well, but the point of the chop contest is to leave some aspect of the original.

I do agree that I shoul dhave removed the rear chrome bumper.

the chrome on the rear bumper is a really tiny detail compared to how i missed changing the backround seen from the rear glass on mine. This was a hard contest because you cant just chop anything to the retro skin of that car. That said, i think rex did a great job with his and while it may look a little like a whale to me, he got the ss to fit the original curves of the camaro very well.

After looking @ the other entries I would have voted 4 URs Rex the others were......ummmm...how do U say hideous :pain: .
Never 4 I minute Rex did I doubt the quality of UR work I just said it was ugly (and no I do not like the SS concept) so I guess that is a factor as well as the fact that the 76 Camaro wasn't exactly a beauty queen, and both of those combined....well lets just say it didn't make a good end product.

Don't worry. The SS concept is exactly what the 07 Camaro will be based on.

It's not really "altogether". Most people don't share your view.
