    Contest #119: Non-GM #3

It's OCTOBER! So for this month, I've decided that the 4 contests will all be non-GM vehicles.

You do not need to put-down or insult the picture. It's still a CHOP contest. Make your best chop! Its nice to chop something different for a change.

Take the picture below and modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc...

The changes can be serious or silly. The changes don't have to make the car more desirable, they just have to make it different.

You are showing off your creativity and your chopping skills.

You must use the original picture as your starting point. Try to keep some semblance of the original pic.

You can make up to 2 entries! But if you do, they have to be significantly different from each other. Please send me final copies only. NO revisions after entry. Once you've entered, that's your entry.

If more than 20 entries are received, I might not use "2nd" entries. So please indicate which one you prefer, in case of that scenario.

    Chopping is anonymous!:

Do NOT post your images here in this thread. Instead, E-mail them to: [email protected].
Do not send a link to the picture. Send the picture itself. Please send it in JPG format. Please do not write your name anywhere in your picture.
In your e-mail (but not your picture) please include your user name, even if you think that I know who you are.

You have until Thursday at Midnight to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away. Quality takes time. Voting will start on Friday.

Same rule in effect. If you enter, you MUST vote. Contestants that do not vote will be penalized.

    Here's the pic to modify:

I don't think the SRT-4 version's hit the market yet. I find it interesting to note who you see driving them; around here the Calibers seem to be popular with the younger (mid-30s to early 40s) white-collar business folks.

Hey Rex, I have a suggestion! How about the Compass for the next contest?
I'll make a new sig. Later.

Just out of curiosity Mr Raider...but are you familiar with Worth1000.com? They have photoshop contests too, although not many related to cars. I'm amazed at what can be done with this program. I have PS8 (I think) and after a year I still don't know enough to make a high quality chop like those people (or even some on here for that matter *correction...more like most*) do. Amazing. Check it out www.worth1000.com. It's different stuff, but all good fun too. I can change wheels and stuff, but those meshing of cars cleanly...lost!

anyway, hoping to have a submission for this one before Friday.
    later!

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions?

I am a member at Worth1000, and have participated in many contests.
Some of those guys have UBER-skills. I'd love to get some of them over here.

They'd make me look bad...then again, I'm thinking you guys will too. One day I'll have to ask where you can find tutorials for combining items. As in the Chevette contest - I can never figure out how to blend two items (Scirocco & Chevy concept - very nice) and get the colours to match up so well, or the shadows, or glare...etc. Most tutorials are not biased towards playing with cars, although they have taught me some good stuff. Just soooo much more to learn.
