    Lightbulb Coke Bottle revisited

while in the detroit airport this weekend, waiting for my flight, i remembered that the term 'coke-bottle styling' had been used to describe cars such as the 70s stingray, and early camaros. i looked at the bottle of black-cherry-vanilla-coke, turned it sideways, and started drawing. here she be:

i'll work on it in PS and render it, i know it's a bit blurry now (digital camera, not scanner)

*by the way, black-cherry-vanilla-coke is phenomenal*

Looks a bit too sharp at this point to be a coke bottle but if you can smooth some of it out in ps then maybe this could be nice. Looks a bit like a Pagani Zonda at this point

i see where you could've gotten the zonda from, but the design is less bulky. render in first post. the cabin still needs some work, but the design is (hopefully) more clear in the render.

Render isn't bad. Your getting better at them. Front end looks very awckward compared to the greenhouse, but that is the styling. Good job!

thanks. about the front, is it something specific, like that lip-spoiler, or just the angle?

I think its mostly the angle. And how the wheel goes so far into the well, it couldn't steer without annihilating the fender. It may also be because there is such a short hood.

Do it from the top angle ...3/4 veiw...can't really see the "coke bottle" shape yet.

well, if you pick up your monitor and turn it 90* clockwise, you should see the bottle with i more slanted mid-section. or if you have tiny muscles you could just tilt your head to the left.

i won't be working on this anymore because the contest officially ended 18 hours ago.
