    Cobalt "Raven" Concept

Got bored, decided to chop a picture of a Cobalt I saw on the net.

It all started when I was watching an episode of American Muscle Car. It was on the 87 Buick Grand National. They talked about how its demise was brought around by the new FWD platform in '88. One of the people said, they just couldn't put that kind of power in an FWD drivetrain. Later that day, I was looking at my Cobalt in the driveway and though, "Wonder what it would be like if it were RWD". So I went from there.

I figured strap the new 2.0L DI Turbo engine in there from the GXP/Redline putting power to the rear wheels. Give it a moderate cowl hood. New aggressive front fascia. 19" Black wheels with nice wide rear tires fill out the profile. Added in some multi-lamp headlights and shaved the rear spoiler.

Well, here is the end result, I know its a little over the top, but I'd rather it be bold than boring. Let me know what you think.

That looks great. Is that front air dam from the Acura RSX Type S?

Mineral Grey metallic might not look bad either. Looked at that on the HHR but it was not 'loud' enough for me. So I went with Orange. hahaha! Now thats loud!
