    Chevy two-door Shooting Brake

    Cruze Shooting Brake

I remember when the cheapest model in a range of small cars was a two-door sedan or hatch.

It gave something for young people who don't want a boring family sedan or wagon and can't afford to pay a premium for a coupe.

I like it, but then again, I'm usually a fan of coupes and 2-door hatches. Would you mind getting rid of the top left part of the headlight that encroaches on the hood? i think that makes the Cruze front end look a lot better.

I'd take the actual C30 over that, sorry.

    That's OK.

Like I said, it would be aimed at young people who think 4-door sedans and wagons are for families and old people like us...

The Volvo C30 is too costly for young people. This would be half the price.

You wouldn't be alone there, but I think a car like that would have a market. The C30 over here starts at $25,000 and gets 30mpg highway. A Cruze hatch like the one above would be a lot less and get 33% better highway mileage.

    Yeah, what he said ^^^

    Re: Chevy two-door Shooting Brake

After seeing the Aveo RS with the faux coupe appearance, I have to wonder if a two-door hatch is practical. I do like this variation though - perhaps moreso than the sedan.

I'm still surprised that we haven't heard anything about a real Delta-based coupe variation of the Cruze or Astra. The idea of not having a D+D release with the sedan is just... weird.

IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

This would be a nice competitor to the Ford Focus ZX-3.
