    Chevy/Daewoo Halo Model

^^^ This Holden Epica is sold around the world as a Chevy. Below is just an idea for a Halo model to lift their image....

What GM need to do with this car is to take that Porsche designed 2.0 straight six engine and fit DI and fast spool Twin Turbo's and add Titanium conrods/valve gear, race pistons so it revs sweetly to 8,000rpm and drive it through a 7 speed close ratio manual to AWD. I'm thinking 375hp........

It's a good idea, especially the detail you went into for the drivetrain. But I think you could do a little more to the body of the car. Maybe bring the rockers down a little lower, change the grille some more (black out the chrome around the rim of it?) maybe darken the headlights and/or black out the mirrors too? I dunno.

why do the hood stripes stop when they meet the reflection of the roof in the paint????

^^^ I was thinking of these graphics, you can see the side stripes are the same, and in the flesh I like how the bonnet graphics stop before getting to the windscreen. Of course on this car there is no bulge crease to start the stripes; so I started them from the grille but still finished them before the windscreen.

They are more vestigial stripes. In the old days they would have gone right over the roof and trunk/boot lid as well. Now many exclude the roof, but I think if you go to the windscreen it leaves you expecting the stripes to go over the roof. This way it's more akin to how flames on a hot rod may start at the front of a car and flow back a little then stop....

Cool idea, but I think the Daewoo T2X and L4X would beat it out as "halo" cars.

kudos for also fixing the headlights... just doing the double beams really makes the car look more aggresive!
