    Chevy Chevelle

    Enjoy.

A little story behind the face: I love Chevelles, particularly the '68-'69 and '70-'72 models. But, most Chevelle concepts are kind of the same old, same old; picking out and taking cues from the now legendary '70 SS396/454 models. Well, I did the same here by picking out cues from the '69 model, which is to me a little more elegant and muscular than the '70s version. So I tried to make the '69 model more modern.

Also, I've decided that this car will lay down the foundation for my future concepts for Chevy. They'll all have dual headlights, like many early Chevys, and the crossbar. It's time a little more heritage gets thrown in GM's mainstream brand.

Guys, consider this my "appology" sketch.

Anyone up for an El Camino?

Hey! Some nicely selected cues but an original design at the same time that looks good?!? Woohoo! Nice work, I love it

i love it... one complaint. The window is to slanted backwards... bring it a little more upright and the roofline a little higher. If you have ever drivin a Dodge Stratus coupe the window is slated WAY to much... kinda funky to drive.

    looks good!

maybe shrink the rear up a bit, theres a lot of space between the back door and the rear tire, looks kind of odd.

I like this sketch. The front end suggests the look of the Chevelle but is modern, instead of embarassing (like parts of the Mustang)
