    Chevy Backlash

After years of negative press regarding their minivans, GM fights back with the Chevrolet Backlash. A 280hp V6 powers the Front wheels (or all wheels). It's unique construction allows for a car like ride, but still has a 4500lb towing capacity.

That's the track for the sliding rear door.

Whew, for a minute I was thinking suicide doors on the back. Decent looking machine with some horses under the hood. Is this a concept or slated for production at some point?

    Re: Chevy Backlash

I'm guessing that ugly line is for the slider on the rear door. Definitely quite an interesting one, though the bumpers should stick out some, and maybe bigger headlights going a bit back at the top instead of a vertical edge. Love the thought of a 280 HP V6, I'm guessing the updated HF 3.6 was in mind. Definitely a good idea and so much better than the current CSV models.

An EXCELLENT job! Rex, your technique is flawless, but that's pretty obvious to everybody here.

A minor thing - the track really does not look that real to me either. If you are going to ever change anything, do think about it

The whole concept might prove not that practical with those big wheels and nose (visibility), but it would certainly make Chevrolet stand out. I believe there might be a hate-love, or better said "partially hate", thing like with the Nissan Quest.

The name might be actually prophetic, and I have issues with that. I am a fan of recycling old names, so I'd suggest one the following - Astro (it looks like it would replace the Astro more than the Uplander), Kommando, Beretta, Nomad or even Venture.

It's nice to dream GM would ever be serious enough to bring about such minivans...

im not digging it. Way too SUVish, wether thats good or bad for this segment is debated.

I could actually see myself driving this. Maybe make it slightly longer looks kinda squished and one thing i am scared of on this chop is what the nose would look like (durango) maybe give it more of a bumper and i also think ASTRO would be a more fitting name

    Re: Chevy Backlash

I think it looks good. I have a small issue with the front door: it looks a bit short and the front cut line doesn't go all the way up. I like the front end, the broad shoulders give it some attitude! Not a fan of the name, but that's just taste.

    Re: Chevy Backlash

front wheel needs to be spinning, rear roofline is WAY TOO HIGH, not enough room in back aka back seat/storage and gas cap needs way more space, longer front/rear overhangs and less yukon/escalade lighting up front.

    Nice work though

Nice, and (as always) , great execution. It does look a little SUV-ish. Kind of tall, you know? Other wise, great. Good idea..and I like the name.
