    Chevy Astro Concept REVISED

i dont know if i want to enter this or not, my UORV and Silverado concepts seem to be the best candidates so far, but i decided to run this by you guys.

Astro is a very useful vehicle which i think should eventully replace the venerable montanas and uplanders.

im just debating wether to keep the door handles as they are or to make them more modern and conventional, similar to the ones on the sienna/odyssey/uplander

actually i like this better then the other two over all i think...
KEEP the front (everything infront of the wheels)

wheels and wheel-wells need to be bigger, aand it looks alot more like an SUV then a van but since it is a van, change the door handles so they're more modern looking...also the sliding door(if it stays a van) should be bigger

all in all nice drawinf and design

I agree with American_Muscle, have the modern handles, and make the wheels bigger.
I'll make a new sig. Later.

I would love to see it back, was upset that they got rid of it, and don't agree with the arguments of why they got rid of it!

Nice job! What's going on with the door(s) in the rear? Is that like a two door open style like the old Astro?

the doors are way too skinny, they need more width. Its a good concept.

    Re: Chevy Astro Concept

What platform would it be built on and what engine would it come with? The most important thing about the Astro that seperates it from the other mini-vans is that it's built on a truck platform. I like the design overall, though the back seems like what a van from Acura would look like.
    Never mind.

    Re: Chevy Astro Concept REVISED

i revised it, but i doubt its any better. As for the plaform, well, this could do well on a modified GMT900 platform.

The side profile and rear-end remind me of a Ssangyong.

    Ssangyong = Ugo.

Grille is okay, but it looks like it's riding on shopping car casters. Not good.
