    Chevrolet Legacy

All right, so I'm new here. I haven't gotten the pictures quite right yet, but I'm working on it. You know about the GM/Subaru partnership, right? Well, since GM India sells the Subaru Forester as a Chevy, I was thinking of a luxury car (read: midsized vehicle going head-on against the Mercedes E-Class, Honda Accord, and Ford Mondeo, known in India as a luxury car) that could be sold only in India. Pretty much, GM buys out Subaru, but allows FHI to keep its Gunma plant. Then it sells a Chevrolet Legacy. I still need to do some tweaking, but once I get it done the photos will be up and ready.

All right, here are the exterior shots. I'm an amateur at this, and since this is my first attempt, any comment/suggestion to "GMize" it will be greatly appreciated. I'll be working on interior shots next.

    Re: Chevrolet Legacy

The first image looks pretty cool, the second needs some work, mainly those squiggly lines around the windows.

Overall its a great concept, looks pretty nice, but your probably going to want your images at 800X600. Some of my first entries were not and i guess rex stretched them so they were and they looked horrible.

Also, you say you plan on working on the interior next. I would highly recommend against that. Leather seats wont win a competition. I suggest perfecting the exterior of the car. Its all that anyone really cares about.

    1. I'll work on the windows, and I'll try to make both of the cars one color. Stupid Paint. I was trying to do chrome trim around the windows - guess that didn't work out.

    2. I could, but the photos are uploaded from MSN Spaces (which in turn are from an auto guide that I'm registered with, and the photos that I got were the smallest I could find. I could stretch them, but then they would look horrendous, but it's always worth a try.

    3. I'll fix the exterior, and I was going to make the interior a bit close either the Tosca, Malibu, or Vectra, but thanks for putting me off doing the interior.

This is from GM do Brasil's website. In celebration of Christmas, their graphic designers put a Christmas wreath around the bowtie. "Conte Comigo" is Brazilian Portuguese for whatever the Spanish "Siempre Contigo" used in Mexico or "Siempre con vos" in Argentina/Uruguay means and thus is GM do Brasil's slogan.

I was surfing around GM's site and found Chevy's India site. They do make a Chevy version of the Forester, here is a link http://www.chevrolet.co.in/content_d..._forester.html

They look good but I agree with 80ssport that they should be bigger. The windows are the only thing that I have trouble with although it's kind of hard to see because of the size of the pics.

    Re: Chevrolet Legacy

I agree with the above suggestions, but do you seriously do all of your work in Paint??? Wow. Most people here (not everybody) use like Photoshop and similar programs. But the chop quality in your pic looks very good for Paint.

And I just read your siggy. Lol, about the Opera thing, I tried it, and it worked for a while, but it got really slow and lagging. It kinda just got progressively worse. Still better than Internet Explorer, but not quite as good as the awesome FireFox.
