    Chevrolet K5

Built on the 2nd-gen Colorado platform, the K5 is slightly larger than the Colorado and H3, featuring a scaled-down Tahoe look. Flexible seating options come with fold-flat jump seats and a removable top and roll cage. Two suspension packages are available, the solid front axle version shown here, and a long-travel Baja version with IFS and 12 inches of wheel travel. Engine options include a 4-cylinder variable-geometry turbo Duramax diesel, 280hp 3.6L V-6, and 325hp 4.8L SIDI V-8.

Looks cool, but the wheelbase is a bit too short.

I think the wheels are wa too big as well as what Fenwick said. It looks good, overall, though!

    Re: Chevrolet K5

You guys have good points, I'll work on it. The funny thing is that I didn't make the wheels and tires any bigger, I just made an Avalanche smaller.

OK guys, I stretched the wheelbase by about 3 inches and shrank the wheels and tires just a bit, probably 2-3 inches as well.

Here you go. Don't you wish car marketing, design, and production were that simple?

I wish GM would consider your idea, a midsized Blazer K5 could sell really well.

I think it's too bad that the Terrain didn't take this route. I would have loved a 21st-century Jeep Cherokee. Even unibody, like the Cherokee, but with more emphasis on SUV than CUV. Oh well, that's a niche that not many brands feel like competing in anymore.

    Beautiful.

It needs a crew cab option, and a 6 foot bed.

Take the plastic off the Avalanche, and compromise on the bed and there ya go!

I like this idea. Looks like a replacement fo the Colorado.

Ummm, that's the Avalanche, so no it doesn't.

It does need to be a tad longer, though I think. It just looks a tad too stubby.

This is Avalanche based, but it is scaled down considerably. Also remember that it's not a truck, it's an homage to the K5 Blazer.
I just threw a top on it, modified from the Trax concept's rear greenhouse and roof rack.
