    Chevrolet CCR

This hatch would be built in addition to the HHR. While the HHR is meant to be retro and practical, the CCR is meant to be sporty and futuristic.

Very futuritic-looking - however the front looks too much like the Cruze (which is a bad thing IMO, because I hate the Cruze's front).

A note to all design contest participants - if I pound you with penalties or point out that you can't enter one of your designs, please do not think that this is a personal bash on you as a designer. I am merely enforcing the rules that I have set down.

That would be Creedence Clearwater Revival, BTW.

I agree, this would be interesting.

To tell the truth, I'm not sure what CCR stands for. I wanted something in the spirit of the HHR and SSR names. CCR sounded the coolest at the time

    Suggestions for names?

Imo, the CCR is basically a Cruze hatchback, which is why they share a similar front end.

    Capable Crossover Roof

or If it had a glass roof, you could call it:

    Crossover Clear Roof

I really like the design. Great idea with the windows.

While I don't care for that rear window treatment (it's well-executed, just not my taste), it's quite popular with European buyers — no doubt the very customers GM would be gunning for with such a model.

Overall, it's very well-done job, ahmad, and addresses a serious chink in the Cruze's armor — a lack of a hatchback variant for Europe and Latin America.

Looks like this is Chevy's "Caliber".

    Good work.
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

I love it! The greenhouse is excellent. I love the angles and curves of the front windshield and the little rear windows and rear hatch glass. The 'handle' C pillar is a really nice touch!

Cruze Coupe Rally (maybe Racer?)...hmm, thats the best that I could come up with. Maybe it should be called CCS (Cruze Coupe Sport) or CSS (Cruze Super Sport) or just Cruze SS.
