that's cool,nice work!
that lower air intake really messses up the grill design. But other than that it looks good, but not the Chevette nameplate good.

2010 Camaro SS
Neither is the Aveo worth of a Chevy badge.
good chop but no. enough of badge engineering.

I actually like this, just lose the lower intake and leave just the top two intakes.
The Chevette was a truly awful car.
That said, however, Vauxhall tried to make a decent Chevette. So they shoehorned a 2.3 Slant Four DOHC 16V Twincam 200 Bhp engine under the little VX bonnet; the resulting car was very fast indeed.
0 to 60 mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 125 Mph; only 400 Chevettes HS were made from 1976 to 1979.
Vauxhall even created a road going rally version called the Chevette HSR:
It had the same engine as the HS. The difference, however, was the aerodynamic bodykit and stiffer suspension. Only 50 HSRs were made from 1979 to 1980.
Unfortunately, however, the Chevette was victim of the rule that says you simply can't polish a turd - no matter how powerful the engine is under the bonnet, a crappy car always will be a crappy car. Surely, the HS and HSR were fast Chevettes, but like the ordinary Chevettes, not even the Hot oneS worked properly.
Like saying a Dodge Omni GLH it's still a Dodge Omni on the inside.
I dunno, get rid of the lowest grille and then move the middle grille down a bit and see how it looks then?
I didn't realize that the Chevette nameplate was good to begin with..Originally Posted by mystikranger

i like it, but it's a tad too VWish IMO. And GM doesnt need any more rebadges. Overall the aveo was a devestating failure, therefore this segment of the market is best left to saturn.
It is well done, that is for sure, like hte others though, get rid of the lower part. Maybe make the middle a bit bigger. Still, looks good.
