    Chase's Buick Skylark

So, I had drawn this a little while ago and had never scanned it to share.

As the title states, this is my idea for a new Buick Skylark, designed to take on the likes of the Z4, and SL-Class. Finely appointed and sporting, but it would err more on the side of luxury versus sport, as the Balls to the Wall Uber-Coupe would be Cadillac's territory.

Nice design... It kind of reminds me of a cross between the Solstice Coupe and the Z4... Not bad at all!

Not sure if the design team that made the 370z would be too happy. Nice looking tho

Nice work! It reminds me, somewhat, of Aston Martin's One-77. No bad thing.

The drawing is excellent, but just be careful with the perspective around the trunk/rearwindow area. It's hard to explain, but it's as if the trunk "curves-up" as it approaches the far side. Like it has a flying-butress on just one side of the window.

But that's just a minor fault in a super drawing.

awesome - I love the way the tail light merges/blends in with the character line going the length of the car.

Looks good...for some reason it evokes for me elements of the Shanghai Riviera concept.

that is one area where I still have some difficulties. The far side illustrates a little better what I was trying to achieve, like you mentioned, pseudo flying buttresses, just not as extreme as let's say a Jaguar XJS or the Kappas with their tops up, just an area of glass that begins to curve down more steeply than the surrounding sheetmetal. Thanks!

why? Because it is another roadster? Beyond that I'd have to say that the similarities between the two are as far apart as the Z and the z4... if it is the tail light thing, the only ones that should have their feathers ruffled should be the folks from Aston. The z's lights look like they've just added little hooks to the edges rather than being a thin strop of LEDs that double-back on themselves

It occured to me that the trunk lid reminds me somewhat of that on the Velite concept. I'd love to see a front view.

It's not groundbreaking, but I like it a lot (I want a fun little daily driver with some class!). I would definitely like to see more of it.
