    Cadillac Sedan

Back in the day I posted this sketch/render of a big Cadillac sedan:

Today I decided to revisit it, years later:

Nice! I actually think it would make a better ATS than anything.

I like it! And I especially like the tail lamps, a departure from the vertical one's Cadillac has been mostly using for 50+ years.

Is the "V" under the grill of the first picture a lighting element/light tube or is it chrome?

Your rendering makes me realize we haven't heard from MonaroSS in awhile, anyone know what happened to him? (edit, just answered my own question, there he is posting two threads down in regards to the LaSalle).

It looks as good or better than anything they're doing right now.

I think it would make a good four door coupe.

    Re: Cadillac Sedan

I remember that render, and that direction has a strong flavor that Caddy could have used on ATS/CTS to actually sell cars. Rather than the milk dud styling they are. I think they could have gone after the type of people who buy Lexus but without having to use an ugly grille...

I like the taillight treatment but would give it a little more vertical dimension to keep it linked to the historic vertical lamps.

The new sketches look nice but the upper side window curve is a bit too Audi in 3 window form.... The new ATS headlights are interesting but I would like to see the grille less 5 sided V with a little more vertical sides to match the headlights and thus have a more blunt aggression to the grille.

Nice work on these... Oh what could have been?

I come and read here every day but there has been a lot of truck discussion (not my cup of tea) and rehashing over Cadillac and Camaro and I am a little Cadillac'd out... Not much inspiring or controversial news that makes you want to jump in and say something...

And I have not been chopping as I got 500G of data a month and new high speed ISP (I was previously in a Internet Blackspot and had to make do with a slower satellite service). So I've spent most of my recent spare time watching old movies I haven't seen in years...
