    Burns' retro Chevette

based on the original chevette hatchback. Its hard to make these retro cars look modern without making them look too much like the camaro. anyways, i used the new chevy grill, and the fog light area from my delorean (thought it would look cooler here :p) and some cues from the original design.

also, new perspective = new problems, so dont hesitate to point any out if you see them

    original

    my redesign:

    i hope you like.

i actually like how tall it is, looks like a great caliber competitor. and btw, good job with the new perspective, the front rims are maybe slightly skewed but nothing major. far better then i can do. great work man!

I don't know, it may not be any taller than the Caliber. I like the looks. I would even consider buying it.

thanks for the comments guys! I never thought you guys would think its too tall, i personally cant see much tallness. I think one reason why it looks more like an SUV then a hatch is because i messed up on the shadowing under the car (the front), see if it looks better like this:

and i agree, i think it would be a great caliber fighter preportion wise.

    Re: Burns' retro Chevette

I like it. Best drawn Chevette yet.
    Good job!

    How about a 2dr version?
IF It's A Chevrolet & RWD, Don't ride in it!!!

ALL Chevy's NEED to be FWD/F-AWD!!!

    If it's a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, Don't ride in/drive it!!

    Re: Burns' retro Chevette

I don't know about it as a Chevette, but it would go against the Caliber real well.
I'll make a new sig. Later.
