    Gosh!

Looks good so far, but there's not much to go on.

You spy right! Here's the final version. I figured that if Buick were to get a RWD sedan, it should go all out and eat ///Ms for lunch and crap out AMGs...

That looks great! I REALLY like the exposed blade-like vertical elements in the grille....and of course the sweep spear. Why Welburn does not hire you and MonaroSS is beyond me.

Thank you! oddly enough, those two elements took me the longest to draw! Getting the lines down just right to where each looked correct to my eye!

I also really like the unifying effect of that continuous swoopy line that first embraces the headlight, then merges with the rear view mirror support, then becomes the sweep spear. Excellent!

It's funny...the only styling element that I don't like is the front end.

    The headlights look great.
    The grille looks great.

BUT...I don't think they look that great together. The other 95% really flows, but the front end just...doesn't.

A note to all design contest participants - if I pound you with penalties or point out that you can't enter one of your designs, please do not think that this is a personal bash on you as a designer. I am merely enforcing the rules that I have set down.

take away the left edge on the front, and everything kind of smooths out. I had a lot a difficulty trying to get it drawn, and even though this is how I finished it, I know it isn't quite right. (honestly, it sort of reminds me of a stroke victim, it seems to droop ever so slightly)

I was a little disappointed with the front end when I got past this point:

I just noticed and like that central bulge in the hood that houses their shield in the grille...nice unifying touch. I also like how most of your cars have a low slung stance, like a cougar ready to pounce.

You know, that is one thing that bothers me about vehicles these days: Cars of any type seem like they are jacked up with a mile between the wheel wells and the hood/trunk. Looking back, vehicles in the past had a much more low-slung look, Recently though, they have become behemoths, and I really don't like it.

There is another little feature that I think you may find interesting: at the bottoms of the doors, the rocker panel actually dives below and behind the doors, so it looks like the cabin sort of floats above the frame. Kind of hard to illustrate, and at this size, a bit hard to notice.

Yowsers! That's sharp! You just blew the doors, hood, and trunk lid off Buick's geriatric image! AWESOME!
