Heres my idea of a Ferrari modena sized buick supercar. Obviously this wouldnt sell to Buick customers but it is fun to draw. It could also act as a halo car to draw younger buyers to buick (if they adopted a few cues from it on normal buicks)

I just don't think this is the kind of concept Buick needs at all at this time.

If you were to make a Buick in the realm of the Cadillac Sixteen, that's the kind of super car for Buick I can see.

Your concept is WAY too busy for a Buick.

Maybe not a Buick, but it is an awesome idea for a car.

Dont forget the buick Wildcat from 1986. Buick wouldnt hurt to change its image a little. thats its main problem. It has a dull staid image as a conservatively styled humble luxo sedan marque. It needs a bit of excitement. This isnt production material obviously, but it wouldnt hurt for a toned down version of this to be shown at some autoshow to get passions flowing for Buick.

it's a good idea but that's a bit too far fetched....firstly...buicks target market is mostly fogies....well..sorry...shouldnt stereotype...but...it's most ly people looking for a high class, somewhat sporty vehicle that can carry a load when it eneds to...a buick sports car COULD work...but it probably wont....your drawing looks good but if you want it to look truly buick you need to smooth it out a bit...and those side fender holes...need to be smaller...plus fewer slits and slats and stuff

I agree with the reduction and number of gill slits. It looks Saleen-ish.
Ill work on a smoother, less cluttered version. Im verym uch satisfied with the shape though, and the grille and lights all around. I just need to replace the side intakes, and front and rear deck air vents.

I really don't think that the Buick Wildcat did anything for Buick.

I don't believe any of it's styling cues were used on new cars. I don't beleive it made a new generation of buyers. I don't think it changed the image, or lowered the average age of a Buick buyer.

Buick may need a show car, but not one of this nature.

    dayum, dude you can draw.
I agree, not a great idea. They need to work on punching Lex in the junk, not Ferrari. I love the port holes... but I only see 3? A 6cyl supercar? I better see 9 more on each side... got me?

whether or not Buick NEEDS this car is irrelevant to me. I drew this concept because I felt like it :P

And I encourage it. I wish more people submitted concepts, whether drawn or photochopped.

I think your work is great. I just don't like the idea behind it.

Wow, a supercar Buick! Yea, I'd take this anyday over a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Maserati, etc. just for the prestige of owning a Buick!!

    LOL!

    Nice drawing though.

I have this thing about supercars made by mundane car companies. I really dont put a supercar concept by a normal company any higher than a company known to make such cars, because I think each car should be judged on its own merits not its company history. thats why a Kia supercar doesnt sound like an impossiblity to me. Buick is known for luxury, so a supercar, at least a concept one, is entirely feasible.
