    Buick Statesman/Roadmaster...chop

I know its really ruff still tryin to learn how to do this...but how is this for a start. Only thing i have changed thus far are the headlamp grille and added ports to the side going to attempt to change roof line if i can figure out how to do it. But enough of me talking here's the chop. It's very ruff i know.

Good start. Raise the belt line a bit. Chrome the grille more.

Hmm, I like it. Leave the grille black, like a GNX.

I was waiting for that. Roadmaster's no GNX, make it a chrome million dollar smile and make the shields a standing hood ornament like it was in the past. I wouldn't use Lucerne's headlights - they make the car look Asian. Buick Park Avenue or the B-body Roadmaster would be a batter starting point.

I would also cancel the third window - it's soooo 90s and the Roadmaster had a substantial C-pillar that provided for that formal and stately look. Perhaps also raise the middle section of the hood, or the entire hood for that matter.

It's a pretty good start. If you feel like you're up to it, you should try to change more than the front end.

VERY good start. Like mgescuro said, add a little more chrome (on portholes, ect) And maybe a bigger grille? What program are you using to do this? P.S 1,500th Post!

I said that not to make it into a GNX, but to use the GNX as an example. Chrome'd also look good, but there needs to be alot of it to if there's going to be chrome.

Yuck. Sorry, nothing personal about your chop in specific, but I have yet to see ANY Statesman chop (or the real thing) impress me. I've thought it has always been an ugly car. Some guy on myspace is sure Caddy should bring it over, slap the DTS front on it, put some chrome rims on it, and call it Fleetwood. Hell no!

Lightbrotha - great job! Your certainly much closer now! If you want a nice grille and hood ornament, try an early 1997 Park Avenue Ultra, like this one (example, I don't know whether this photo would be of any use): http://images.autobytel.com/cyber/165438/i510483_1.jpg Don't forget to get rid of the opera window
