Buick Riviera & Monaro GTS Twins

    ,
Many would have seen the Chinese Buick Riviera Concept.

Here is how to add some historic Riviera styling cues without being retro:

I've also added a Holden Monaro GTS twin to the Riviera.

    Re: Buick Riviera

I don't know if I'd consider it overly Buick, but that's a rather sharp concept. Maybe the back end of the cabin could be tapered a bit for the boattail look?

The Chinese Riviera is a great starting point, as you have demonstrated. Therefore, if Buick sold a car that looked like your revised one in North America then I would sell one of my kidneys and my Saturn Vue in a heart beat to get one. That is HOTTTT!!!!!!!!!

Monaro, if I can call you that, great work as always. It would make a great Monaro, but the Yanks wouldn't like it as their GTO.

I like the way you changed the tail lights. They were loking a little too Peugot for my liking.

Great job! How could they build a concept without the the boattail?

P.S. That's my favourite Monaro colour scheme too.

I like it, the later model Riv's always had that bar of soap look, which you can see in those chops. I think they look great!

LOL. I can't speak for the Yanks, but I would take one as a GTO. I do admit to liking hood scoops though, so bring 'em on.
