    Buick Enclave as an Opel

Had an idea for this and decided to go with it: The Opel "Pilentum" would compete with the Toureg but cost significantly less, around €42,000 and would help raise the prestige of the Opel brand without having to sell that many units. I imagine putting some sort of diesel engine in it, at least as an option. On the interior, I added an Opel steering wheel, changed the blue lighting to red and swapped out the god-awful fake wood with piano black. I'd be glad to hear you feedback!

EDIT: Changed the name to Magnus.

Needs a different name (IIRC all Opel names have the letter 'a' in them) and a good diesel engine...

I think that looks pretty good, although I don't know if there is a market for this.

I hadn't noticed that. I thought that their names sounded vaguely latin so I looked up a word meaning luxurious carriage.

Any other ideas? My other option was Amplus ("large" and it kind of sounds like Ampera)

What's with these red light dials? Red lights make me think "fire", "danger". I'd feel safer driving with a blue or green lit dashboard.

I might have wondered too, but the M-B R-Class was designed (dumbed down?) for us Americans but now remains in production only for export... you actually see a fair number of them in Germany. So if GM wanted to go this route with the Enclava (there, fixed that name thing... jk) maybe it would work.

Well, lets go back to this.

The Enclave could definitely sell in Europe if GM had a diesel engine to put in it. In fact, I'm surprised they aren't doing this.

That looks good. GM had said the next gen Enclave, along with the Lacrosse, would make it across the pond as Opels.

Doesn't look bad. It needs a better name, though.

Also, I didn't know unregistered guests could post.
