    Buick CTS-V Coupe

Just taking a cue from the thread about killing Cadillac if GM won't give it the product it needs. Thus begging the question of if Caddy were killed can Buick take over it's better product niches.....

Wow cool! And it even has a nice chrome-enhanced sweep spear. Looks great!

Cadillac doesn't have to die for Buick to have a product with the success of the CTS in the same segment. If Cadillac moves upscale, Buick would have to fill that slot in the lineup. If GM's design team keeps up the work done on the new Camaro, Malibu, SRX, Cruze, Regal, and pretty much every product coming out, then I have no doubt that Buick could do what Cadillac did with the CTS. While that's happening, I have no doubt that Cadillac can compete with the greatest luxury brands on Earth in the fields of design and engineering.

hmm..interesting. if this were real i'd say no way, not enough buick in it...and caddy should be all rwd, buick front. but, i like your idea for it as a "what if"..and a nice chop. Looked better then i thought it would when i opened it

I'd say that it would require more sheetmetal changes, especially when it comes to the sweepspear. I think that it would look excellent if the rear portion of the sweepspear traced the rear fender flare (pretty much the darker area, and would come to a point and then begin to move towards the front of the vehicle just above the reflection of the horizon).

Overall, it would be something do-able and quite attractive with some more drastic changes to the sheetmetal.

I figured as much lol. More along the lines of what I was imagining. This is the shape I had outlined last night, the same general shape of the car could remain, however, I'd like to see a narrowed rear windscreen with a little more slope added to the sweepspear.

I can't photoshop, but this was the shape I was thinking of:

and after looking at it, I think that the front end should become a little less vertical, possibly chopping an inch or two off of the top of the headlights and lessening the slope of the crease on the front fender that the headlights form the top of.
