How else would you call art art if there weren't any nudity?
I'm into (looking at) art if it contains tasteful nudity, for some reason I don't find nude guys to be tasteful
Why did you have to put a nude guy, I don't find it appealing

No, seriously, they aren't horrible, but do you have anything with nekkid chicks?
Those are really good. I like what you've done with the blending and shading in the last one. It 'says' something but leaves everything open for interpretation too. The contrast between light and dark, but then that aqua/tourquoise colour in the middle and around the light and dark is neat too.
You should post some more of your work up for us to see. Great job!
To answer your original question, no, not really. I don't think I 'get' art. I can recognize when something is well done (like what you show here), but I really don't think I'm all that into it. I think I generally prefer outdoor scenes.
Well that and naked men, like Swahili.
Okay, better clarify... I don't like naked men SUCH as Swahili... I like naked men AS Swahili does... wait, did I just say I like naked men...Originally Posted by paul8488

Back to MSabatini's works above - that's certainly art. Good technique, choice of colour, composition etc. I could perhaps list some other works as my favorites, but you certainly have a talent and skills to be envious about
OK now, go and explain when and where did you saw Swahili naked!I don't like naked men SUCH as Swahili

I love paintings. They are such an honest way to convey talent. Its pretty hard to fake it.
I like my partners art too although she isn't into the same type of expressionism (is that what this is? I'm a technician )
Here you go Paul. Its got boobies
Here's my helicopter design. The tribal surround was stuck on from one of my other submissions, in my absence. It haunts me whenever I see it. Such poor integration!
I don't have blinds and I consider myself rather attractive, so if that's going to make his day, so be it... I also seem to have a lucky day whenever I see a rare car, and Paul's 5-door Nubira would qualify... Paul, please only note that taking photos incurs an extra charge! He's a peeper so make sure you keep your blinds shut when you're are home.
Ooh err...not sure what to make of this thread..!! So I think I'll leave you three to it...
Love the second one down - lovely colours.
You've got some real skill. But naked men scare me. I close my eyes when I shower.
Paul has been responsible enough to supply his paypal account for my webcam. I'm sure he can arrange the same.Originally Posted by Bravada

I like your partners art mikmak! I think I generally prefer sculptures to paintings. Also, great helicopter design... why don't you like that they used it? Integration you say? It would eb ncie to see the whole chopper done, but it looks great nonetheless.
Any more pics to share msabatini?
Little Yukio Mishima's St. Sebastian shot death with arrows vibe from that 3rd one. Neat work.
