All that noise and all that sound

This is the direction I want to go with a new CRX for a contest elsewhere. I thought I would get some comments before I move to rendering

It's a bit rough, but I hope you like!

Note: I know you guys would rather see something GM, so my next project is going to be a new cadillac BLS, fully rendered, look for that by early september!

Is it only the front? I'm set on the side but flexible with the front, so It can be changed need be.

I really like that and it definitely says Honda CRX in the overall side profile - but has more to catch the eye than any Honda in recent memory. The front isn't as convincingly Honda, not bland enough.

Seriously though, the front needs more simple elements or needs the elements like lights and grille lining up with a flow from one to the other, even if just implied. Ditch the front mesh vents, not Honda at all, keep the side ones but lighten their color or maybe just use horizontal bars. If the comp is being voted on by Honda lovers they will go for elegant over bold every day of the week. That's Honda.

not too bad, Personally, I would ditch the side vents, and the vehicle looks really tall. Almost like a mini SUV. The original CRX had almost a toy car feeling to it with a low belt line. I must say though, when seeing your designs rendered, it does something completely different to them, you get a better feeling as to what you are doing with the body lines and how portions go in and stick out.

the front is where i see the Audi, maybe you should make it more generic honda looking like monaroSS said. the VW i mentioned is in the profile line and just the overall design theme of the car, the lines look very VW concept to me.
its a good concept, just needs some hondatizing
