    All-new, Theta4WD-based Chevrolet Colorado

Three people asked me for this drawing in my "Need Inspiration..." thread, and so I drew it. It's my first pickup, so don't bash me too hard.

An all-new Chevrolet Colorado moves to a variation of the Theta platform, to allow the addition of a 4WD system as opposed to an AWD system. A lot of the old Colorado's styling, as well as styling inspired by the Silverado and Traverse, is in this new model.

The Colorado is offered with (breathe) four trim levels (WT, LS, LT, Camino), three engines (2.4L I-4DI, 3.2L V6DI, 2.4L I-4DI Turbo), three cab configurations (Regular, Extended, Crew), 2WD or 4WD, and lots of other options.

But wait, what's this "Camino" I speak of? It's a special trim level that eliminates the black cladding and door handles, lowers the ride height and slightly lowers the roofline, adds 18" wheels, adds El Camino-like touches, and, most importantly, a 2.4L direct-injected, turbocharged engine good for 275hp. It's only available with a regular cab, long bed, and 2WD.

Please ignore the line on the drawing's left side, thanks!
    So, may I present...

If it is Theta based, it is unibody, which means you would not have a separate, detached bed. There would be no line between the cab and the bed. Just look a Ridgeline.

    Nice Job!!
I am looking forward to the new Colarado with the quality and style of the Silverado except smaller and sportier.

Like I said - first try!

It turned out a little stubbier than I thought, too.

I do like the idea of a Theta based Colorado.

I am not feeling that at all. Looks like an equinox with a bed.
