    Re: >>>>> 4door <<<<<

I surely do like it, but can't be so enthusiastic about it as I was about the Toronados. Perhaps it's because I've seen most of the cues already...

I know I shouldn't be nitpicking about such a great design, but I believe the front overhang should stay - I believe they are both off the same platform, and I felt it was due to traditional Oldsmobile FWD that it looked like that on the coupes. Despite my usual dislike for "FWD noses", this one was very good, I guess it would become the 4-door even better.

The car also looks a bit too lowriding. Perhaps this is due to the colored (rather than chrome) sills, maybe it's the high beltline, but the coupes somehow managed to look more road ready...

I also know that suicide doors became obligatory in GMI contests, but I believe "normal" doors might work just as well. How about a different color to differentiate from the coupes? Light blue? And it's named Torado, right?

Enough nitpicking - all in all I do DIG it

I really like it. I am not sure about the "U" on the hood or the fender/rocker ducts, but as a whole I really like it .

actually I just checked it out, andI think your right about the front overhang,
I think I'll keep working on this 4door until I get it looking just right, I think I know exactly how to do it, will get on to it again soon, thanks for your advice!

Not bad, I don't like it as much as the coupes, however, I sure am a sucker for Suicide doors. I'm also not a huge fan of the rear door line, but the painted rockers look pretty cool, I like them better than the full chrome ones. Keep it up man!
