Rear end needs work.
But the front looks great.

Nice. Maybe I'm the only one, but I still think it was a bad move killing the Oldsmobile. I won't mind if they can revive the division though it will cost them a lot of money to do that.
1) Oldsmobile is, sadly, dead, forever... Unless GM sells the rights to Tata or something nuts... GM spent about 2 billion and POed hundreds of dealers and thousands of customers to get "rid" of it... It would cost 10 times that to bring it back.
2) The 442 never had "vertical" head lights... They almost always had "quad" horizontal lights. I like the fastback back end... But not the "batman mask" head lights... And it needs hood scoops... Retro is "in" and while most 442's came with out hood scoops if its going to come back it needs two "mail slot" scoops on the hood. One of the biggest mistakes of the new (now also dead forever) GTO was the lack of round "nostril" scoops. (GM fixed this, kinda, in 2005... but by then the bloom was off of the rose)

Proposed Cadillac Tag Lines...
GM's "Back to the Future" Division,
GM's Deja Vu Division,
Cadillac is Truck.
Cadillac is Cadence!
Cadillac, you have to crawl before you walk,
Cadillac V8? Whats a V8?
Cadillac, the potential of mixed feelings!
The New Cadillac Flagship: The Chevy Corvette.
Proposed Volt Tag Line..
People who don't like the Volt haven't driven one, and
People who hate the Volt listen to too much talk radio.
It kinda looks like what you would get if you let a Buick get frisky with a 1953 Studeabaker.......
I have an idea. Instead of spending time and energy on a dead brand why don't you draw a contemporary full-sized rear wheel drive coupe for Chevrolet? NO Monte Carlos but a new clean-sheet-of-paper design. Try your hand at a new front end graphic for Chevy....look at new lighting technology...new LED headlights that can be any size, shape, or design. Be original and don't rely on past design cues. Look at the portfolio section of Car Design News and see what the students are doing, learn from them since they'll be shaping tomorrow.
