    2009 Chevy Caprice

    CHEVY CAPRICE BEATS THE COMPETITION.

    (IF IT HAD ANY)

The new Full-Sized 2009 Chevy Caprice. Seating for six. An available LS7 (Standard on SS427 Caprice) V8 engine with Active Fuel Management that develops 545 horsepower. 0-60 in less than 6 seconds while achieving 25 miles per gallon in highway driving thanks in part to Caprice’s standard six speed automatic transmission. Caprice’s rugged GMT900 ladder chassis allows for ample towing capacity of up to 8,000 pounds.

We would be happy to campare Caprice. That is, if there was anything to compare it to.

    Chevy. GM. No comparison.

The back end got cut off.

The overall design isn't bad, but it's a little too retro. Looks too much like the late-60s model.

It's a little retro, but I like it. Too bad the rear-end got cut off.

Thanks for the comments! The sketch was a bit big for the scanner, so it did get cut off...thought I might get away with it...evidently not...lol. I will work with it and re-post it. The ad just came to me while I was drawing it, thinking "what would I go buy in two years, if I had my wish?" Anyway, thank you very much for the comments, and I am going to work on piecing in the rear end.

    Re: 2009 Chevy Caprice

OK, got the whole thing on there. It is actually drawn to scale somewhat. It has the same 116" wheelbase as an '07 Tahoe. I started with that and then scaled everything to that. The wheels would actually be 24" in front and 26" in the rear. I really like the proportions, and I want to develop this design further for my own curiosity. Might work on some interior thoughts. I have been harping about an idea like this for awhile over in the "Letters to GM" forum. Makes sense to me.

    Again, thanks for the comments!

I like the general idea of the body you were going for. And I myself always thought it would be cool to have a car based off a full size truck chassis. A true full sized sedan, haha.

Although I don't like the rims. Have never been a fan of monster sized rims.

    Good work though.
