    2008 Monte Carlo

Here's a sketch a threw together last night after I brainstormed some design ideas for an '08 Monte. I'm going to do a colored vector drawing soon so this is just a basic sketch to show the design. Let me know what you think.

Yeah...I just put a watermark on all my images. Just like to safeguard against intelectual property theft.

looks okay. Since I am a monte owner I am very hard to please haha. the hood slopes too much and bottom air dam gives it a fat lip look. I say tweak the front but the body lines are nice.

haha I just noticed it but you photochoped the bottom picture. ha thats one way of getting both sides even...

Yeah, I used to draw both sides of symetrical drawings but a few years ago I realized I could do it much easier and in half the time.

Pretty good job with the monte, though the front end reminds me of..... I think an L-Series Saturn, but I cannot put my finger on it. I would like to see it in color and maybe with some more details, but good work so far, keep it up!

    *nods*

    I agree....on both accounts here.

I like the situation of the emblem on the nose...and the emblems on the taillights .

Although...the front looks more "mean/angry"...whereas previous MCs looked more (imho) like they were smiling in the front...

    *shrugs*

    Still....good concept .

I like it, both front and rear. Good job. You have some good drawing skills, I'm looking forward to you making a colour picture if you plan on it and if you have the time. It looks mean enough to compete with the Charger.

lengthen the nose a little bit, give it a RWD look.

    Re: 2008 Monte Carlo

I'd say raise the front portion of the hood a bit, or square up the top of the grill a bit. It looks like it slopes down too abruptly and makes the front end of the car look shorter than it should be. Kind of like a Ford Focus. I can see how you want the mean, squat look, but the slope throws it off. Other than that, it looks great. I especially like the REAL fender flaring rather than the current model's "eyebrows" that only maybe suggest it.
