    2008 Firebid...Ergonomic Extravaganza

The instrument panel houses the viewers that provide reduced destraction via monitors rather than mirrors. One can select a split screen or single screen via thumb pods on the steering wheel, which also houses turn signals, stereo controls, climate controls, window thobs, and diagnostics.
The side viewers provide target abilities with speed, distance, and time allowed to transition into that particular lane You can also set it to random search or target specific search.

Both the speedometer and the RPM gauge exchange a digital booth so that when your looking at the speedo, you can also see the RPM's and vice-versa.

    Hope you like!

Best concept drawing of yours yet. I like it. I wouldn't want to drive it (it intimidates the h#ll out of me) but it's cool, none the less.

that steering wheel would take some getting used to... especially for quick hand-over-hand turns

That's so cool! First detailed rendering of an instrument panel i've seen here. I'd round-off the steering wheel though, unless we're planning on ultra quick Formula 1 steering ratios!

Thanks! My idea was to force drivers to be more focused on driving and being responsible drivers. The hands-free phone controls are on the wheel as well with voice activated calling. But of course...it does not have a food & beverage control!

Thank you! It's really not intimidating...it just gives drivers more of a driving experience. I would imagine the vehicle to have a 'black box' that records all visuals which would be extremely helpful after an accident. The car would also sense eratic driving behavior; resulting in a complete shut-down if someone is driving under the influence of alcohol, suffering a seizure, or perhaps a heart attack. The vehicle would automatically go onto an auto-drive mode that could calculate the safest execution to the side of the road. Can you imagine what GM could do with this? If the vehicle sensed submersion in water, the GPS system would immediately identify its location. A self contained, internal water pump would immediately pump water out of passenger compartment.

Don't forgot the strobing red light on the front and the KNIGHT 2000 license plate.
