Is A Response From GMI Too Much To Ask?

Why has there been NO response from GMI on the issue of the legions of GMI members whose accounts are no longer usable?

Has the problem even been acknowledged? Does GMI even know what the problem is? And I'm not talking about the password issue, I'm talking about the many other members (Jesda comes to mind) who had no issue with the password change, but logged in one day to find out that our accounts stood in some "activation" limbo — we could log in, but do nothing else. I was even able to change my password, but still couldn't post anything or leave messages.

So, is someone working to "fix" our old accounts?

    Something?

    Anything?

WOULD A RESPONSE BE TOO MUCH TO ASK?

If there was some major meltdown and our old accounts are gone forever, I'm fine with it. Just let me know that. Tell me succinctly, "t-rex (and others), your old account is gone forever. We're sorry, but that's the way it happened. Good luck with your new account."

And why can't any of us who signed up for new accounts upload avatars?

I sent several messages and got nothing back. What difference does it make?

I could expound on this, but I'm trying to foster positive cameradie here at GMI.

Funny how so many of the people running over to AV are the very people who were causing the problems here at GMI...

It's ok they'll probably have themselves banned in a very short time. I just joined myself as most of the guys I like from here are already on AV.

Being "Brand Neutral" AV certainly has eliminated some of the shadows people stand in front of (or behind).........

My desktop computer won't work but my laptop will. GMI sure wasn't prepared for this kind of event. Not even close.

Then you won't like me pushing for people to post on both sites in the spirit of competition improves the breed.

The site that wants more clicks needs to do the better job to attract a larger portion of the time members spend on both sites.

And BTW, if what you say is true, then you should join AV just to post an open letter to them all to let them know how you feel.

It would be cathartic and soul cleansing....

Disagree. It seems like a pretty short list to me. Frankly I expected more of t-rex/rexx.
